CANCELLATION POLICY

Welcome! We are excited to help you improve your English conversational skills. To ensure that our time together is productive for all our students, we have the following policy regarding class cancellations and rescheduling. By booking a class with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Cancellation by the Student
24-Hour Notice Required: You may cancel or reschedule a class without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

2. Options for Cancellations with Sufficient Notice (24 hours or more)
If you cancel with at least 24 hours' notice, no monetary refunds will be issued. Your payment for the session will be secured, and you will have the following two options to choose from:
Reschedule: You may choose to reschedule your class for another time that is mutually convenient for you and the tutor. There is no additional charge for rescheduling.
Receive a Class Credit: Your payment will be converted into a class credit on your account. This credit can be used to book any future class with [Your Business Name] at a later date.
3. Late Cancellation Fee
If you cancel a class with less than 24 hours' notice, the session will be considered a late cancellation. In this case, the full cost of the class will be charged, and you will not be eligible for a credit or a make-up session. This fee compensates the tutor for the time they had reserved for you.
4. No-Show Policy
10-Minute Grace Period: We understand that technical issues can happen. Your tutor will wait in the online classroom for 10 minutes past the scheduled start time.
Forfeited Session: If you do not arrive within this 10-minute grace period, the class will be considered a no-show. The session will be marked as completed, the full class fee will be charged, and you will not be eligible for a credit or a make-up session.
5. Cancellation by the Tutor (Our Policy)
Reschedule or Full Credit: In the rare event that a tutor from [Your Business Name] needs to cancel a class due to an emergency or technical issue, you will be notified as soon as possible. You will have two options:
Receive a full credit for the session to be used for a future class.
Reschedule the class for a time that is mutually convenient for you and the tutor.
6. Packaged or Pre-paid Classes
If you have purchased a package of classes, any late cancellation or no-show will result in the forfeiture of that session from your package. The session will be deducted from your remaining balance as if the class had taken place.
7. Technical Issues
Student's Responsibility: It is the student's responsibility to ensure they have a stable internet connection, a working microphone, and a camera for their online class. We are not responsible for sessions missed due to a student's technical issues.
Tutor's Responsibility: In the event of a technical issue on the tutor's end, we will follow the cancellation policy outlined in Section 5.
